Some malicious toolbars may change your default search engine settings in browser.
First of all, Go to control panel, open up the ADD/REMOVE programs tool.
In the installed programs list, find if there is any software with the name UNKNOWN which has an icon of search mirror beside it. If you find such thing, remove it.
Now go to browser settings for default search engine.
* In Mozilla Firefox, click at the Google Search Box drop down menu and select MANAGE SEARCH ENGINES.
* In the Internet Explorer IE, go to TOOLS and then Internet Options, and in the GENERAL tab, find Change Default Search Engine.
* Google Chrome users follow as Mozilla Firefox.
* Opera users also do like Google Chrome.
Now you,ll see a list of Search Engines, Remove if the UNKNOWN or some suspicious program is set to be default. Now select Bing, yahoo or Google as your default search provider.
